Census 2021: take part in the consultation

From September 11 to December 8, Statistics Canada is conducting a public consultation on the content of the 2021 Census. As users of this dataset, academic researchers are invited to take part in the consultation as are government representatives, First Nations, Métis and Inuit communities and organizations, NGOs, and the private sector. The consultation seeks information on the relevance of the census, users’ needs, populations of interest, suitability of alternative data sources, multivariate analysis, comparability across Canada, continuity over time and the required frequency of outputs. For more information, visit the 2021 census content consultation website or contact the 2021 Census Content Determination Team.
