Request for Proposals – new pilot project in the RDCs

In order to increase access to the Integrated Criminal Court Survey (ICCS) data, from 2005/2006 to 2013/2014, the Canadian Centre for Justice Statistics, together with Statistics Canada and Research Data Centres (RDCs), is launching a pilot project to increase access to data on criminal court cases. The project also aim to evaluate and improve confidentiality vetting rules as well as survey documentation. Interested researchers should submit a proposal by June 10. Call for proposals: Hate Crime Data Pilot Project

To increase the accessibility of the Incident-based Uniform Crime Reporting (UCR) Survey data, the Canadian Centre for Justice Statistics, in conjunction with Statistics Canada, is conducting a pilot project whereby UCR hate crime data for 2010, 2011, and 2012 will be placed in a select number of RDCs. To take part in this pilot project, researchers are invited to submit a proposal by February 26. Details and selection criteria are available here.

Request for proposals

To increase the accessibility of the Incident-based Uniform Crime Reporting (UCR) Survey data, the Canadian Centre for Justice Statistics, in conjunction with Statistics Canada’s Research Data Centres program, is conducting a pilot project whereby the UCR database will be placed in a select number of RDCs. This pilot project will provide support for the evaluation and refinement of confidentiality vetting rules for the UCR data and an opportunity to improve end-user documentation.
