October 16 : World Food Day

Many researchers use microdata to document and better understand eating habits in Canada and their health implications. Among them, we would like to point out the work of Lynn McIntyre and her colleagues examining food insecurity and its consequences. Depression among young adults

In partnership with the Population Change and Life Course Strategic Knowledge Cluster, our next webinars will be held on November 5 (in English) and 7 (in French). Provincial Strategies in Mental Health

Researchers working on topics related to mental health will be interested to know that the Caledon Institute of Social Policy recently released a report entitled Knowledge Exchange on Mental Health. Authors Sherri Torjman and Anne Makhoul review the mental health strategies introduced in recent years by provincial and territorial governments and explore the challenges that are common to all. The report concludes with a summary of major considerations for the future.
