Health Services Program monitoring and evaluation

Offered through University of Victoria, Continuing Studies and Population Data BC, this is a practical course designed to provide the skills and knowledge you need to effectively conduct or manage project/program evaluations. Whether you are responsible for doing evaluations or managing evaluation staff or consultants, this course provides a very practice-based opportunity to learn the basic concepts and principles of monitoring and evaluatinghealth service projects and programs. You will learn valuable skills in:

  • Monitoring and evaluation planning
  • Research design, measurement reliability and validity
  • Common data sourcing, and the measurement of quality, effectiveness, efficiency.
