Where to access data

Researchers now have access to 30 Research Data Centres (RDC) and branches located on as many university campus across the country.

  • BCI-RDC - Simon Fraser branch

    This facility is located on the campus of Simon Fraser University and is affiliated to the Brisitish Colombia Interuniversity RDC (BCI-RDC).

  • BCI-RDC - Victoria branch

    This facility is located on the campus of the University of Victoria and is affiliated to the BCI-RDC. It was opened in the summer of 2006 to alleviate the enormous travel time burden faced by University of Victoria researchers attempting to do their work by making the 4-5 hour ferry and car/bus trip to Vancouver.

  • British Columbia Interuniversity Research Data Centre (BCI-RDC)

    The British Columbia Interuniversity Research Data Centre (BCI-RDC) is an interuniversity research facility involving Simon Fraser University, the University of British Columbia, and the University of Victoria. The main infrastructure is located at UBC with branches at Simon Fraser and Victoria.
