Created in 2001, the Quebec Interuniversity Centre for Social Statistics (QICSS) serves the whole research community in Quebec The main infrastructure is located on the campus of the University of Montreal but researchers can also access data through four affiliated branches on the campus of UQÀM, Sherbrooke, McGill, and Laval universities. The UdeM lab opened its doors in April 2001.
