International Day of Families

Several researchers throughout the Network examine family related issues, including changing family structure, mothers’ participation in the labour market, and child development. On the International Day of Families, we’d like to draw your attention to the many publications arising from their research and invite you to consult it here, notably the work of our experts, Céline Le Bourdais and Rod Beaujot.

Call for proposal

The Population Change and Lifecourse Strategic Knowledge Cluster announce a second Call for Proposal for Big Picture Syntheses a series that summarizes what is known on a topic relevant to the Cluster’s research interests. The deadline for receipt of proposals is 15 March. Applicants are encouraged to communicate in advance with regard to their intention to submit a proposal.

CRDCN Mid-term report

We are proud to release the Network’s 2013 mid-term report submitted to the granting councils. The report documents the activities of the Network over the past three years and demonstrates the tremendous impact of the RDC program, including a remarkable body of published research, increased capacity in quantitative research, technical developments and, most importantly, advancement in understanding important socio-economic and health issues affecting the lives of fellow Canadians.
