Pre-budget consultation

The House of Commons Standing Committee on Finance is currently holding a pre-budget consultation. Until August 5, individuals and groups are invited to submit online up to three recommendations. For each, the Committee asks precisions about: the expected cost or savings resulting from the recommendation; the manner in which the federal government could fund it; groups of individuals, sectors or regions that would benefit or be harmed by it; general impacts that would result from implementing it.
