International Day of Persons with Disability

On the International Day of Persons with Disability proclaimed by the UN to support their integration in every aspect of political, social, economic and cultural life, we wish to highlight that numerous studies examining the situation of persons with disability have been done through the CRDCN, notably to better understand employment-related issues. A recent CRDCN Research Highlight also addresses this question.

November is financial literacy month in Canada

As part of the financial literacy month, we’d like to draw your attention to a recent study by Thomas Lalime et Pierre-Carl Michaud where they examine financial literacy levels in Canada using data from the Canadian Financial Capability Survey and find that Quebec is behind in this area compared to the rest of the country. Consultation on digital scholarship

Canada’s federal research granting agencies and the Canada Foundation for Innovation, in collaboration with Genome Canada, are inviting your feedback on the consultation document Toward a Policy Framework for Advancing Digital Scholarship in Canada they jointly prepared to help address the digital infrastructure challenges that Canada is facing.
