New Graduate Student Exchange Program

Pathways to Prosperity (P2P) launches an exchange program providing opportunities for graduate students to conduct research in new locations under the supervision of P2P members. The program will provide travel funding of up to $2,500 to four students, who will also eligible to additional funding through the Mitacs Accelerate program. Applications should be submitted by email to Michael Haan ([email protected]). The dead line to apply is March 27, with placements to begin in the Summer or Fall of 2015.

Scholarship Opportunity

The Industrial Alliance Research Chair on the Economics of Demographic Change (CEDIA) offers scholarships for master’s and doctoral students in Economics at ESG UQAM and at Université Laval, and to other master’s and doctoral students whose research is supervised by a professor of the Chair. Special Student competition

The Population Change and Lifecourse Strategic Knowledge is sponsoring a conference on 19-20 March (pdf) in Ottawa and wish to invite up to twenty students to attend this event. Travel and accommodation will be covered by the Cluster. Interested students should send a cover letter explaining interests, with a curriculum vitae and a letter of support from a faculty Cluster member, to Rod Beaujot (with cc to Zenaida Ravanera) by 30 November 2014.
