Funding opportunity

The CIHR Healthy Cities Research Initiative (HCRI) is pleased to announce an upcoming new funding opportunity: Data Analysis Using Existing Databases and Cohorts. The intent of this funding opportunity is to highlight and encourage the use of previously funded cohort, administrative, and survey data. Data platforms that allow access to and/or linkage of multiple datasets include the Canadian Urban Environmental Health Research Consortium (CANUE). There will be three funding streams: one stream in cancer prevention and control, another in reproductive, maternal, child, and youth health, as well as a stream in healthy cities intervention research. CIHR will be hosting webinar(s) to support researchers interested in participating in the healthy cities intervention stream. The details will be posted shortly on CIHR website. Statistics Canada, CMHC and CANUE will also be holding a two-hour webinar to provide more information on datasets available that are relevant to healthy cities research on June 25, 2019 (1:00 – 3:00). Applicants must register to participate.
