Advancing Food Insecurity Research in Canada: Call for abstracts

On November 17 & 18, the Food Insecurity Policy Research group (PROOF) is hosting a conference to further understand the causes and consequences of food insecurity in Canada, and support the translation of food insecurity research into policy and practice. Call for Papers

On April 14 2016, the QICSS will hold the 9th edition of its New Researchers Conference at the University of Montreal. Graduate students, post-doctoral researchers and recent graduates conducting (or having conducted) research at the QICSS are invited to submit proposals highlighting the paramount importance and value of research using detailed microdata to better understand current socioeconomic and health related challenges. The deadline to submit a proposal is February 21, 2016. All details are available here.
